Résumé

Bladder cancer occurs frequently and is serious. Although ultrasound and CT examination are essential, magnetic resonance imaging is more effective for staging large tumours and in atypical cases, in particular submucosal lesions. CT and MRI are equally effective in examining the lymph nodes. The examination technique is simple. The prospects for using MRI, in particular with diffusion imaging, are being evaluated.
