Résumé

Until the 1990s, the patient's duration of life was the main measure for determining the value of palliative chemotherapy for colorectal cancer. Quality of life recently appeared as a main end point. The aim of this article is to provide an overview of the instruments used to measure quality of life in patients with metastatic colorectal cancer, to review the published data and to analyse the bias and methodological problems.
