Résumé

Sport is often synonymous with well-being but it may be associated with conduct disorders among teenagers. Indeed, eating disorders are often described in sport and especially among girls. The aim is to show how sport motivation and achievement goals play a role in eating disorders. Thirty-seven girls aged on average 17 years, practicing a sport intensively (more than eight hours per week) responded to a questionnaire in two time intervals (20 months). Extrinsic motivation, a-motivation and goals influence the development of eating disorders among young girls. (C) 2009 Elsevier Masson SAS. All rights reserved.
