Résumé
Subendothelial matrix exhibits a distinctive organization, with collagen fibers beneath the endothelium oriented parallel to the flow and comprising mainly types III and I collagen in arteries and arterioles. However, the significance of such organization in initiating thrombus formation remains unclear.
