Résumé

We read with interest the study of Mathian et al (1), suggesting that direct serum IFNα determination with a highly sensitive assay might be useful for disease activity monitoring in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). More generally, the identification of reactive biomarkers is highly desirable in many disease states, including idiopathic inflammatory myositis (IIM). This article is protected by copyright.
